Welcome to the MLAC funding application page, and thank you for your work to create equal access to justice in Massachusetts. Before applying, review the eligibility criteria below and funding distribution.
Regional and Statewide Grant Funding
Due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, MLAC is only accepting applications for FY22 regional and statewide general support and special projects funding from legal aid organizations that received such funding in FY21.
For more information, please feel free to contact Lynne Parker, MLAC Executive Director at lparker@mlac.org.
Organization Eligibility

• Be a nonprofit corporation that delivers free legal assistance to low-income people facing civil legal issues;
• Have a board of directors of which at least 25 percent of its members are eligible to receive services, and at least 51 percent of its members are attorneys; and
• Adhere to policies put forth by the MLAC Board of Directors.
